Job description:
Are you looking for a job in which you can help the elderly in their twilight years and or adults with disabilities live comfortably in their own homes with your support and guidance. We are currently looking for Personal Care Workers that live in Cairns Far North Queensland that are caring, compassionate, dependable and skilled individuals to provide in-home care.
Daily activities typically include:
· Personal Cares- Helping with showering and incontinence
· Companionship
· Meal preparation
· Activities of daily living
· Light housekeeping
· Transportation
· Shopping assistance
· Sleep over shifts available
· and much more
Qualifications:
· A Certificate III in Individual Support (aged care, home & community care, disability) with at least 12 months experience
· National Police Certificate
· NDIS Screening Card
· Working with Vulnerable Person’s Card (Bluecard)
· Current Senior First Aid & CPR
· Drivers Licence with comprehensive care insurance
· MUST Live in Cairns or surrounding area
