About The Role
Northern NSW Cancer Institute Lismore is seeking a Cancer Liaison Nurse to join the team. In this role, the Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high-quality, person-centred nursing care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses, and the policies and procedures of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD). The Cancer Liaison Nurse provides education and information to patients and their families regarding disease progression, treatment options and symptom management, while ensuring coordination and continuity of care through referral to appropriate allied health and community services.
