Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Supervisor to join our Brisbane team focusing on Insurance related residential, commercial and strata building works. The successful candidate will deliver high quality customer service to both internal and external clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members and oversee internal trade teams.
- Provide onboarding training and assistance.
- Positively influence team and company culture.
- Understand and interpret Project Reports and Scope of Works.
- Produce quotes and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with Claims Coordinators to develop and issue contracts in line with the Scope of Works.
- Generate, monitor, and amend construction programs to meet project objectives.
- Manage projects within budget parameters and approved variations.
- Review and interpret various technical documents, including relevant regulatory legislation of the Building & Construction Industry (NSW/QLD).
- Have a clear understanding of building codes necessary for facilitating repairs.
- Liaise between all key stakeholders (insureds, insurers, trades, internal office employees, suppliers, and subcontractors).
- Assist with sourcing and ordering materials.
- Manage quality assurance and project KPIs through company and client SLAs.
- Manage and oversee the broader portfolio.
- Undertake emergency Make Safe Works, as required.
- Implement WHS regulatory requirements to mitigate risk.
- Represent the company at industry-related events, as required.

- Possess strong administrative, IT, written, verbal communication, and organizational skills.
- Adapt to diverse environments and work schedules.
Qualifications
- Cert III - Carpentry or relevant trade
- Cert IV - Building and Construction (mandatory)
- QBCC Builder - Site Supervisor’s Licence (mandatory)
- Construction Induction Card (blue/white) (mandatory)
- Driver’s Licence (mandatory)
- Working at Height Qualification (desirable)
Experience
- 5+ years in Commercial / Residential Supervision
- 5+ years in the building and construction environment
- Minimum 2+ years in a leadership role
- Strong background and experience in supervising projects, including repairs, fit-outs, and new construction
- Insurance industry knowledge is desirable but not mandatory
- Solid WHS background
- Ability to read and write English, and give and receive instructions
- Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Be physically fit, with the ability to climb stairs and lift as required
