Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and cooking food
* Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding garnishes and sauces
* Ensuring all meals are of high quality and are prepared in a timely manner
* Utilising a variety of fresh, frozen and prepared ingredients to prepare, cook and present a range of dishes according to a seasonal menu
* Practicing effective stock rotation and wastage minimisation procedures
* Assisting our team in maintaining an efficient and proactive kitchen operation
The following skills and qualifications are essential:
* Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or higher.
* Previous experience as a chef in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexibility to work various hospitality hours, across 2 – 3 days per week.
