Receptionist, Administration Support & Bookkeeper
Location: Unit 10/ Bourke Road, Alexandria, NSW 2015
In between Green Square and Mascot train stations
Position Title: Receptionist & Bookkeeper
Hours: Full Time working hours 9 am to 5 pm
Occasional overtime may be required, as agreed.
Payroll processed weekly.
Background:
We are seeking a mature person with office clerical experience for the role of office Receptionist/Telephonist/Accounts Person/Bookkeeper to join our team.
As an integral member of our administration department, you will be responsible for attending to all banking and accounting operations, office filing and assisting the management team with the completion of office requirements.
Reporting to company Managing Director and the external Business Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank account and payroll.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and files.
Process supplier invoices, payments, and clients' receipts.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
Maintain staff, motor vehicle, bank, insurance, taxation and office filing records.
Manage Petty Cash float and reimbursement.
Attend payroll processing and maintenance.
Provide office clerical support to the administration team.
Background Requirements:
2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
Above average knowledge of MYOB accounting software.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel and Word.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Australian resident, NSW motor vehicle driving license.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
