UGL and CPB Contractors are looking for Civil Leading Hands to join the HumeLink West JV project team in Wagga Wagga and the Riverina Region. Roles are available in the Civil, Substations, and Logistics teams.
* Demonstrated experience in a similar environment
* Knowledge and experience in construction, transmission, or Oil and Gas

About You
* Construction White Card - required
* Driver's licence (HR Licence)
* Experience managing a team
* Work Safely at Heights - desirable
* High Risk Work Licence - WP (Work Platform) - desirable
* Construction experience - desirable
* Heavy industry experience - desirable
* Excavator ticket / Skid Steer Ticket / Trade Qualification - desirable
The successful candidate will be required to hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and undergo a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing) prior to commencement.
Evidence of tertiary qualifications and proof of right to work will be required prior to appointment where applicable.

HumeLink West Project
* Two CIMIC Group companies, UGL and CPB Contractors, have been selected by Transgrid to deliver approximately 143 km of the HumeLink high voltage electricity transmission project.
HumeLink is a new 500kV transmission project connecting Wagga Wagga, Maragle, and Bannaby in regional NSW, significantly increasing the capacity of Australia's eastern electricity network. It is one of Australia's largest energy infrastructure projects, with about 365 km of proposed new transmission lines and various new and upgraded infrastructure.
The HumeLink West scope, worth $1.5bn, includes the delivery of new 500kV double circuit transmission lines spanning approximately 143 km from Wagga Wagga Substation to a new substation at Gugaa, the interface point with HumeLink East near Gundagai, and a new substation at Maragle for future connection to Snowy 2.0.
