About the Role
The Marketing & Fundraising Assistant provides essential support to the marketing and fundraising teams, helping to deliver campaigns, engage stakeholders, and maintain effective communication channels. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, creativity, and a passion for making a positive impact.
Duties and Tasks (complete list, via the Position Description)
* Assists in the planning and execution of marketing and fundraising campaigns;
* Supports with the creation of digital and print content, including website management, newsletters, social media posts, and promotional materials;
* Supports with advertising and public relations, including developing editorials, newspaper ads, Google ads, and website blog posts;
* Maintains and updates donor and supporter databases;
Key Selection Criteria (complete list via the Position Description)
* Relevant qualification or relevant experience in Marketing, Communications, Fundraising, or a related field;
* The ability to communicate effectively, build relationships, and interact across all audiences;
* Strong written and verbal communication skills;
* Proficiency in digital tools (e.g., Canva, Mailchimp, CRM systems, social media platforms);
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Desirable Attributes:
* Experience in the nonprofit or community sector;
* Experience in fundraising and philanthropy.
