Our client, a national organisation within the aviation sector, are currently seeking an Integration Project Manager to join their Air Traffic Management Technology Replacement Program for an initial 2+ year contract.

The Integration Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the integration of approximately 20 data-based systems into the ATM platform being deployed at five operational sites.
The role ensures that system integration activities are delivered on schedule, within scope, and in compliance with operational, safety, and regulatory requirements.
This position plays a key role in ensuring that the integrated solution is technically sound, operationally effective, and ready for service at each location.
Roles and Responsibilities include
Develop and maintain the integration project plan, schedules, and resource allocations.
Define integration scope, dependencies, and sequencing across systems and sites.
Establish integration strategies for multiple deployment locations.
Manage integration of ~20 data-based systems (e.g. surveillance, communications, meteorology, flight data, aeronautical information, safety/security systems) into the ATM platform.
Ensure consistency of integration design, testing, and deployment across all locations.
Work closely with engineering teams to resolve interface and interoperability issues.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (operations, engineering, safety, ICT, cyber security) and external stakeholders (regulators, vendors, site managers, industry partners).
Facilitate communication between system owners, integration engineers, and operational end users.
Oversee integration test planning and execution (including factory acceptance, site acceptance, and system-of-systems testing).
Ensure data flows, interfaces, and system dependencies are validated in operationally representative environments.
Support shadow operations, rehearsals, and operational readiness trials.
Identify and manage technical and schedule risks associated with integration.
Ensure compliance with aviation safety, cyber security, and regulatory standards (ICAO, CASA, Defence).
Maintain traceability between integration requirements, test evidence, and operational acceptance.
Plan and coordinate integration cutovers and rollouts across the five sites.
Support operational handover, early-life support, and lessons learned capture.
Essential skills and experience required
Australian Citizen (essential)
Proven experience delivering complex systems integration projects in safety-critical environments, preferably in aviation, defence, transport, or telecommunications.
Strong understanding of system-of-systems integration, interface management, and verification/validation processes.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
Experience managing multi-site deployments of complex ICT or operational systems.
Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, risk management, and reporting.
Desirable skills and experience required
Knowledge of Air Traffic Management systems and operations.
Familiarity with aviation standards and regulations (e.g. ICAO SARPs, Civil Aviation Safety Regulations).
Experience with cyber security integration and compliance requirements.
Tertiary qualifications in engineering, systems integration, or project management.
Professional certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, or equivalent).
