We're partnering with a leading banking organisation seeking a Senior Android Developer to build and scale secure, high-performance mobile platforms used by millions.
This is a hands‐on role with influence over architecture, delivery, and engineering standards, working in a cross‐functional team across mobile and backend systems.
The Role
Own Android development across key initiatives, contributing to architecture and delivering production‐grade apps in a regulated environment. Collaborate closely with backend, product, and platform teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain Android apps using Kotlin and modern practices
* Own architecture (MVVM / MVI / Clean) with a focus on scalability and maintainability
* Lead technical decisions and contribute to system design across mobile and backend
* Ensure performance, reliability, and security in production
* Support CI/CD and release processes
* Mentor engineers and uplift engineering standards
Tech Environment
* CI/CD, testing, release pipelines
What We're Looking For
* Deep Kotlin expertise and modern development practices
* Experience owning architecture and technical direction
* Strong system design across mobile/backend
* Background in regulated environments (banking/finance preferred)
* Security‐focused mindset and strong collaboration skills
