The Practice
The clinic is a not-for-profit organisation providing high quality, integrated primary healthcare across the Wheatbelt. As the organisation's headquarters, this centre boasts a modern, fully computerised general practice.
The practice is mixed billing with predominantly a bulk billing profile and supports vulnerable and disadvantaged clients to access the care they need to support improved health outcomes.
* Full time nursing and reception support
* On-site pathology, pharmacy, allied health and physiotherapy
* Support from visiting general physician
* Integrated Aboriginal Health Clinic managed by the same organisation
The Role
Whether you're interested in a full-time rural general practice clinic or just one or two days per week in Aboriginal health clinic, we have flexible options to suit your lifestyle and interests.
The patients include a significant Aboriginal cohort, with the support from the Aboriginal outreach team and the Northam Aboriginal Medical clinic which this practice also manages.
Northam has a large rural hospital with a busy emergency department just five minutes from the clinic. If you're interested and qualified, there's the option to join the ED roster.
