About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Pallet Controller based in Truganina. The Pallet Controller will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of physical and transactional movements of pool equipment within the Metcash network. This role is responsible for implementing consistent national processes and systems, building and maintaining strong relationships with trading partners and internal stakeholders, enabling and educating teams to adhere to best practices, and supporting the end-to-end stock‐take and reconciliation process. You will provide timely, accurate reporting and analysis of equipment accounts to ensure optimal efficiency and compliance. Additionally, this role will identify and implement process improvements, drive cost control initiatives, and ensure adherence to industry standards.
In this Role
* Collect and process paperwork (dockets, runsheets, transfer forms) for inbound, outbound, perishables, Grocery and cross‐dock operations.
* Enter and maintain pallet and transfer data in 2IC and other systems.
* Download, key in, and process weekly data files from multiple sources.
* Manage and scan documentation into digital folders by date.
* Prepare and send pallet reports to stores and monitor email correspondence via the Pallets VIC account.
* Check and process transport invoices and dehire data.
* Support data uploads, transfers, and reporting between Truganina Grocery, ALM and Campbells sites.
You're Likely a Match If
* Relevant experience or qualifications in logistics, warehousing, or administration.
* Demonstrated capability with warehouse and pallet management system using 2IC.
* Sound knowledge of inbound and outbound order, pallet, and route planning.
* Understanding of supply chain processes, including Transport Management Systems and DIFOT.
* Experience working with 3PL and 4PL transport providers.
* Familiarity with FMCG distribution centre operations, with strong communication and reporting skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
