Chef/Cook for Outside School Hours Care Centre

Are you passionate about food and enjoy working with children? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated chef/cook to join our Award-Winning Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Centre
About the Role:
As the Chef/Cook at our OSHC Centre, you will be responsible for serving breakfast and preparing pre-cooked afternoon tea for children, ensuring their meals are nutritious and delicious. You'll also play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and eating environment.
Your key duties will include:
* Serving breakfast and preparing pre-cooked afternoon tea (all food is provided by school cafeteria, prepared by a qualified chef)
* Cleaning dishes and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen
* Ensuring the eating area is tidy and safe for children
* Adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean working environment
About the shifts:
* Monday to Friday, split shifts:
* Morning shift: 6:30am - 9:00am (flexible)
* Afternoon shift: 2:30pm - 5.30pm (required Monday to Friday)
What we're looking for:
* Experience in food preparation and cooking
* Strong focus on food safety and cleanliness
* Ability to work independently and efficiently
* Friendly and approachable, with a passion for working with children
* Availability to work Monday to Friday in the afternoons
