Planning Electrical Engineer
to support maintenance, projects, and turnaround activities at Woodside Energy sites in Perth. The role will be based in Perth with regular site travel.
Applicants must be Perth‑based and hold current Australian work rights.
Description
Provide electrical engineering support for maintenance campaigns, MOCs, and technical workpacks
Assist with capital project scopes, remediation, and turnaround readiness activities
Optimise maintenance strategies and support root‑cause investigations of significant electrical defects
Deliver assurance on electrical integrity and Safety & Environmental Critical Elements
Collaborate with site execution teams and provide backfill coverage as required
Identify improvement opportunities based on operational feedback and data analysis
Support Technical Authorities and participate in engineering governance and compliance reviews
Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Demonstrated experience in production or maintenance engineering within oil & gas or heavy industry
Strong knowledge of electrical integrity, reliability, and maintenance planning processes
Familiarity with CMMS systems and Management of Change (MOC) procedures
Proven stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, operationally driven environment
