St Vincent's and St Luke's Hospital in Launceston is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Clinical Learning and Development Manager. This position involves developing, implementing, and evaluating learning strategies for nursing and support staff.
This exciting opportunity presents a chance for an experienced Learning and Development Manager or Clinical Nurse Educator to take on new challenges and develop their skills further.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying education and training needs that align with Calvary Launceston's Clinical Services Plan and national standards.
* They will also provide leadership and oversight to a team of Clinical Nurse Educators and Nursing Facilitators.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing annual education plans in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Services.
* Ensuring educational activities meet customer expectations.
* Maintaining knowledge of current nursing best practices.
* Coordinating evidence-based educational activities aligned with quality initiatives.
* Managing the education team to achieve budget targets.
* Facilitating training and education for mandatory requirements.
Requirements
* AHPRA registration and current practicing certificate.
* Certificate 3 in Training and Assessment.
* Leadership experience.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development.
* Demonstrated knowledge of current nursing issues and practices.
* Good computer literacy and reporting skills.
* Previous experience in similar roles.
