Employment with Mid North Coast LHD requires candidates to hold a valid authority to work in Australia (Aust Work Rights Visa).
What you'll be doing
This position will coordinate and lead implementation of Carer Support Program policies, guidelines and strategies for the Coffs Clinical Network (CCN) within agreed boundaries in Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD).
The service involves face-to-face group work with carers and can provide consultancy to staff and service providers on policy and best practice relating to carers.
The role is directed towards increasing support for carers, raising awareness of carers needs and changing attitudes towards carers within the health system.
About You
Current Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia; or Bachelor of Social Work and eligible for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers; or current registration with the Psychology Board of Australia; or current registration with the Nurses and Midwives Board of Australia; or current registration with the Physiotherapist Board of Australia.
Sound understanding and demonstrated experience of working with carers.
