About The Opportunity
This role is based at the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS) a globally recognised centre of excellence in marine and climate science. As part of the ARC Laureate Fellowship project Precision Climate Tracking, you will investigate changes in ocean salinity and the Earth's water cycle - key to understanding the planet's hydrological response to climate change.
Key Responsibilities
* A PhD or equivalent in physical oceanography or a related field.
* Experience in university post-graduate research supervision.
* In-depth skills in climate model data analysis.
* In-depth knowledge of ocean observation methods.
