Academic Position - Neonatal and Midwifery Units
The successful applicant will contribute to the development and delivery of neonatal and midwifery units at our Mt Helen campus, on a part-time basis (0.6). This continuing appointment offers opportunities for academic advancement in strengthening clinical partnerships and research in neonatal and perinatal health.
* This role is integral to the design, teaching, and evaluation of neonatal and midwifery units at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Main Responsibilities:
* Teach and assess undergraduate, honours, and postgraduate students;
* Develop, teach, lead, and moderate units;
* Pursue research activities;
* Supervise students undertaking project units and honours courses.
About You:
We are seeking an innovative educator and committed scholar with strong neonatal and midwifery expertise, who can work collaboratively as part of the Institute's academic and clinical education team. You should possess initiative, innovation, and a can-do attitude, along with enthusiasm for student-centred teaching and learning.
* A current unrestricted registration as a Registered Midwife with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
* Demonstrated clinical expertise in neonatal care (Special Care Nursery and/or NICU experience essential);
* A commitment to scholarship and potential for academic advancement;
* Experience in academic administration;
* An ability to develop and deliver high-quality educational programs.
