Position: Project Planner
Location: Sydney
Project: Utility-Scale BESS Project
Salary: $140k - $160k + super + benefits
We're partnering with a leading developer & EPC delivering large-scale renewable energy and transmission projects across Australia.
Due to continued growth and project demand, they are appointing a Project Planner to support the delivery of a major BESS project, working closely with the Project Controls Manager and broader project team.
This is a key role supporting project scheduling, reporting, and controls across the full EPC lifecycle.
What You'll Do
* Support the development, maintenance and monitoring of project schedules across engineering, procurement and construction.
* Analyse project schedules to identify variances, risks and delays, and support mitigation strategies.
* Assist in developing and maintaining WBS structures and project coding.
* Gather, update and validate project data to support accurate schedule tracking and reporting.
* Support progress measurement and ensure alignment with project milestones and deliverables.
* Contribute to baseline schedule development and ongoing schedule updates.
* Assist with monthly reporting, including progress updates and performance analysis.
What we're looking for
* 5+ years' experience in project planning, project scheduling or project controls within an EPC environment.
* Experience working across large-scale projects, ideally in renewables.
* Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret schedule data and identify key risks.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
