The Licensing Coordinator role is a permanent opportunity to support the growth of content licensing within the Tech Networks and New Channel Partnerships team.
News Corp Australia's Content Licensing department is a key growth area that intersects with editorial, product, tech, marketing, and finance. The role also involves ad hoc general content licensing duties, record keeping and billing, and a positive and solution-based approach.
**What's the role?**
The Licensing Coordinator provides business administration support to the Content Licensing team. This includes providing insights to inform opportunities with new and existing partners.
The role works closely with the Licensing Manager and is responsible for:
- Account management of our clients including regular compliance and usage reporting
- Support Licensing Manager with transactional licensing requests
- Rights management (pictures, recipes, contributor agreements etc).
- Work closely with international partner, Conde Nast, on syndication opportunities
- Monitor copyright infringement and unlicensed use of our content
- General liaison with internal legal, finance and editorial teams
**Who are you?**
- a recent graduate of an Arts, Communication, or Law degree
- Ideally have an understanding of content licensing or content acquisition within a deadline-driven environment
- You are a multitasker - you can confidently manage and prioritise a range of high-volume processes in order to meet deadlines.
- You have good verbal and written communication skills that allow you to rapidly build and maintain relationships.
- You are adaptable to a fast-paced, changing environment
- You're task-oriented,
