Overview
Our service has been part of the local community for the past 15 years with the name Roseberry House joining Devonport in 2021, with longstanding teachers and educators who have been here for years. We are looking for an educator to join this exceptional, longstanding team. Educators at our service are passionate about early childhood and show initiative, creativity, and eagerness to be part of our team environment.
We value our team and know that children learn best through play! As such, all Educators have input in developing and implementing a fun, inclusive, and holistic program that encourages childrens growth and development.
We are currently looking for Diploma Educators to join our team on a regular basis.
What you'll be doing
- Engaging children in age-appropriate learning experiences that stimulate their cognitive, physical, social and emotional development
- Developing and implementing engaging curriculum and activities aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
- Observing and documenting children's progress and development
- Ensuring a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment for all children
- Building strong relationships with children, families and the wider community
- Collaborating with the teaching team to provide seamless care and education
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
What we're looking for
- Diploma Educator in Early Childhood Education
- Relevant experience working in an early childhood education setting
- Strong knowledge of child development and age-appropriate learning approaches
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Passion for providing high-quality care and education to young children
- Current Working with Children and First Aid certificates
