The NSW Early Learning Commission is the new independent regulator of early childhood education and care services in NSW. We are dedicated to driving quality, safety, compliance and community confidence across the NSW ECEC sector by placing the safety, wellbeing, rights and best interests of children at the very centre of every decision and action.

* Located in Parramatta offering flexible working arrangements with minimum 2-3 days mandatory office presence for business requirements
* Salary ranges from $113,574 to $125,720 p.a. plus superannuation and annual leave loading


About the role

The Administrative Coordinator plays a pivotal role within the NSW Early Learning Commission, providing high-level executive and administrative support to the Executive Director, Operations. In this role your contribution will help ensure quality, compliance and continuous improvement to the safety, wellbeing and educational outcomes of children.


Your responsibilities

* Manage the directorate inbox and triage high-volume, time-sensitive and confidential matters
* Monitor workflow, track deliverables and ensure deadlines are met
* Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support clear and timely communication
* Maintain accurate records and manage information with confidentiality and utmost discretion.

About you

As the Administrative Coordinator, you will have proven experience supporting senior executives in a complex, high-volume and fast-paced environment. You are proactive, solution-focused, with exceptional communication skills and strong stakeholder engagement.


You will demonstrate

* Strong time management and organisational skills, ensuring priorities are addressed and actioned promptly
* Adaptability and flexibility to the evolving nature of the department
* Resilience when working with contentious and sensitive content related to safety and wellbeing of children.
* Proficiency in using various Microsoft office applications


Key Knowledge and experience

* Demonstrated extensive experience within a similar large and complex organisation.

* Current and valid Working with Children Check Clearance for paid employment.
