Reporting to the Cluster Commercial Director, the Marketing Executive will work collaboratively and proactively to contribute to the development of business through marketing and communications activities for the Hilton Garden Inn Albany.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Administration & Coordination:
· Work with the management to prepare and execute the hotel's marketing budget and plan.
· Champion brand values and ensure the hotel adheres to brand and product standards and positioning, identity and guidelines in all communication (visual, print and electronic).
· Maintain collateral for the hotel and all outlets.
· Contribute creative promotional ideas for outlets and catering sales.
Website Management:
· Be responsible for marketing content on all brand and third-party websites including but not limited to online travel agents (OTA) and GDS (copy, images, promotions) to ensure effectiveness for the relevant target audience and source market.
Digital Marketing & Social Media:
· Prepare a fortnightly plan for social media and execute activities after approval from management.
· Review and update offers and promotions for ease of use and maximum customer reach.
· Coordinate the hotel's email marketing campaigns.
· Ensures a positive social media presence for each of the hotels.
Food and Beverage Marketing
· Deploy successful marketing campaigns for all hotel F&B outlets.
· In conjunction with the Food Beverage and Kitchen Manager, assist with food and beverage, groups and events marketing planning, budget and activities and create promotional strategies to support the positioning of the hotel.
· Initiates, organizes and hosts special events, e.g. wine dinners, fashion parades, wine tastings, pop-upsetc.
