Mind Australia are known for their strong lived-experience workforce integration, flexible, person-centred care, and partnerships with organisations such as One Door Mental Health and The Haven Foundation. Due to the organisation's growth, a new position has been created for a National Property Manager.
About the role
The National Property Manager will be responsible for leading Mind Australia's national property, leasing, and construction portfolio across more than 140 commercial and residential sites nationwide.
Key responsibilities include:
* Develop and deliver a national property and leasing strategy that supports organisational growth.
* Manage the full lease lifecycle, including new leases, renewals, exits and make-goods.
* Oversee outgoings, utilities, insurance claims and all lease obligations for accuracy and compliance.
* Maintain high-quality documentation and national property data.
* Lead construction and refurbishment projects, including contractor coordination and tender management.
* Monitor budgets, timelines and compliance across all property and project activities.
* Build effective relationships with landlords, agents and internal stakeholders, providing clear advice to leaders.
* Lead, mentor and develop the team while driving continuous improvement in systems and processes.
About you
To be successful in this role, we require:
* Tertiary qualifications in property, construction, project/facilities management, business or similar.
* Strong multi-site lease management and negotiation experience.
* Proven construction/project management skills (refurbs, fit-outs, capital works).
* Solid understanding of building codes, WHS, sustainability, risk and financials.
* Excellent stakeholder, communication and team leadership capability.
* Proficient with FM/lease systems and Microsoft Office; community/health/NFP experience valued.
* Must have work rights, driver's licence, NDIS/WWCC checks and ability to travel.
