We're looking for a sharp, proactive Distribution Coordinator who loves bringing order to fast‑moving environments and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. As a key member of our operations team, you'll manage day‑to‑day logistics, stock control, purchasing and reporting activities. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues across Production, Sales and Customer Service.

Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Distribution
* Coordinate all inbound and outbound freight to ensure accurate, compliant and timely movement of goods.
* Work with transport partners to streamline routes and improve delivery efficiency.
* Manage customs requirements and ensure all documentation meets regulatory standards.
Inventory Control
* Maintain stock levels that support operational and production needs.
* Conduct routine stock checks, investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
* Use demand patterns and seasonal trends to set appropriate reorder levels.
* Oversee stock transfers between sites, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
Customer Order Management
* Process customer orders with precision and maintain up‑to‑date order information.
* Communicate proactively with customers regarding product availability and delivery timelines.
* Respond to enquiries professionally and support the resolution of any issues.
* Ensure customer data is accurately maintained within internal systems.
Procurement & Office Support
* Assist with purchasing activities and ensure compliance with procurement guidelines.
* Monitor purchasing activity and negotiate local supplier arrangements where required.
* Coordinate facility needs and act as the main point of contact for the Glenburn office.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
* Prepare regular reports on logistics, inventory and purchasing performance.
* Work with Sales and Production teams to support demand forecasting and planning.
* Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
Compliance & Workplace Safety
* Ensure all supply chain activities comply with regulatory, corporate, and animal welfare requirements.
* Complete required compliance training and uphold WHS responsibilities to maintain a safe working environment.
Production Support (Bovine Germplasm Processing & Lab)
* Provide hands-on support to germplasm production and processing activities as required, in line with laboratory SOPs.
* Assist with routine production tasks such as straw filling, sealing, labelling, freezing and inventory allocation to ensure timely order fulfilment.
* Maintain strict adherence to laboratory standards and accurate documentation within internal systems.
* Communicate proactively with Production team on order priorities, production status and issues impacting output or quality.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies in production workflows and support corrective actions.
About You
Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years' experience in operations, administration, warehousing or a similar environment.
* Previous supply chain experience is highly valued.
* Prior exposure to Liquid Nitrogen handling, with an understanding of safe storage and operational protocols.
* Liquid Nitrogen handling skills can be developed on the job with appropriate training and supervision.
* Must have Australian work rights with authorisation to work in Australia.
Technical Strengths
* Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem‑solving skills.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational capability.
* Confident using Microsoft tools, especially Dynamics 365 Business Central; Power BI experience is a great plus.
* Basic familiarity with Dynamics 365 Business Central is required to support day-to-day operations.
* Ability to interpret policies, regulations and compliance requirements relevant to supply chain operations.
