We're looking for a motivated Senior Practice Nurse to provide clinical and operational leadership to our nursing team on the Sunshine Coast. This is a hands-on role combining patient care with team supervision and development.
The position is available in a permanent part-time (4 days a week) or full-time capacity depending on the preference of the successful candidate.
About Us:
Golden Beach Medical Centre is located a stone's throw from the beach just outside the hustle and bustle of Caloundra city centre. We're a state-of-the-art medical centre, with 15 General Practitioners, a range of Allied Health and a super support team of staff (nursing and reception). We also have a smaller clinic, located 5 minutes away in Pelican Waters Family Doctors that supports four GPs.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Senior Practice Nurse, you will be responsible for working with the Area Nurse Manager - SEQ, to support the nursing team across both sites with a focus on:
Delivering hands -on patient care (chronic disease, immunisations, screening, wound care).
Supporting a team of practice nurses across both sites.
Coordinating rosters, managing supplies, and ensuring clinical standards.
Supporting the Practice Manager with recruitment, training, audits, and regulatory compliance as needed.
Collaborating with GPs and managers on service planning and improvement.
What We're Looking For:
AHPRA Registered Nurse with strong primary care experience.
Confident leader with excellent clinical and communication skills.
Passionate about patient care, service quality, and staff development.
