We are seeking an experienced and motivated junior electrical engineer to join our dynamic team.
This exciting opportunity is for a talented individual who has experience in major projects and shutdown works in materials handling and minerals processing.
As a junior electrical engineer, you will be allocated to one of our diverse projects and provided with guidance and mentorship to develop your skills and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
* Program engineering assistance and support
* Estimating variation works and additional major scopes of work
* Technical resource for the project team, familiar with drawings, project specifications, standards, and technical requirements
* Interaction with and development of the subcontractor network
* Technical investigations and commissioning assistance
* Monitoring, distributing, and entering inspection test reports (ITRs), reviewing ITRs, and generating new ITR test packs
* Entering data and test sheets into PIMS, monitoring progress, and preparing reports
* Collating and constructing electrical MDRs
* Redline mark-ups of drawings
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in electrical or electronics engineering
* 2+ years' experience as a graduate or cadet electrical engineer
* Experience on construction mining projects
* Self-motivated with a desire to achieve objectives
* Good communication and analytical skills
* Broad theoretical knowledge
* Ability to work effectively in a team of professionals
* Committed to maintaining a strong safety culture
* AutoCAD experience
* PDF editor experience
