Junior Paraplanner (12 month maternity cover contract)

Job Summary: We are looking for a Junior Paraplanner to join our centralised Paraplanning team, based out of either our Mayfair or Ipswich office. This is a 12 month contract to provide maternity cover.
The successful postholder will support our Wealth Planners with the delivery of Planning services to new and existing clients of Killik & Co, assisting with the completion of all administrative work relating to initial financial planning reports, annual reviews and preparation of client facing documents.
Key Accountabilities
* Liaise with the Wealth Planning Administrators, Wealth Planners and wider Technical Support Team to ensure all required information for report production is obtained in a timely manner.
* Prepare letters of authority and letters of appointment as requested by the team.
* Assist the Administration team in obtaining third‐party information and the completion of third‐party analysis.
* Maintaining audit trails and client records.
* Obtaining product research, information and new business illustrations as requested by the team.
* Production of annual reviews and initial client reports.
* Obtain and prepare paperwork required for client meetings and business submission.
* Build technical knowledge.

Candidate Profile
* Good standard of education, preferably to A-level standard or equivalent.
* Will have some experience of working in Financial Services, preferably exposure to pensions and/or investment policies.
* Will be in the course of studying for CII DipPFS qualification.
* Will possess a client focus and concern for quality, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
* A diligent worker with a high level of attention to detail.
Contractual Hours
9.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
