Job Description
We're on the lookout for qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor to work with our expanding Adelaide team.
Supporting key retail, commercial and residential construction projects, this role will perform various quantity surveying functions including estimating, planning and cost management, cost monitoring, and accurate and timely financial reporting whilst exercising sound financial acumen with a key focus on proactively maximising value for our clients.
Responsibilities
Liaising with clients, architects and main contractors
Identifying and facilitating new business opportunities
Master-plan and feasibility budgets
Cost checking of developing design
Tender evaluations and analysis
Cash flow projects
Procurement
Cost reporting
Evaluation of variations
Valuations
Final account reporting
Claims preparation, presentation, negotiation and settlement of claims
Investment analysis
Formulating and implementing benchmarking processes to improve the consistency, accuracy and time to prepare cost models and plans
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualification in any of the following areas: Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction Management
Full Australian working rights and currently located in Australia
RICS / AIQS accredited candidates will be highly regarded
Proficient in the use of Cost X
Highly motivated with a passion for delivering excellence to clients
