About the Role
We are seeking a Casual Baker to support our daily production. The role begins with early morning training shifts to learn our recipes and processes. After training is complete, the position will transition into a regular afternoon shift to support our second production block. This role involves cupcake and cake-base baking, preparation of components, and maintaining consistent quality. After a 3-month review, successful candidates will be offered a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
Bake cupcakes, cake bases, and chiffon layers following set recipes
Prepare frostings, fillings, and components
Follow production schedules and meet timelines
Operate and clean commercial baking equipment
Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and safe
Assist with stock rotation and ingredient preparation
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
About You
Experience in commercial baking or a professional kitchen is preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable, punctual, and able to learn new processes
Able to work efficiently during production periods
Positive attitude and good teamwork skills
Willing to learn South-East Asian flavours and methods
Able to work early mornings during training and afternoons once independent
Pathway to Full-Time (3-Month Review)
Performance will be assessed on quality, speed, consistency, reliability, teamwork, and independence. Successful candidates will be offered a full-time role.
