As a Track Machine Maintainer or Mobile Equipment Maintainer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe maintenance and improvement of our track machines assets.
The machines you will be working with include Tampers, Regulators, and Mobile Flash Butts, which are an integral part of the track maintenance division at Rio Tinto.
Maintenance Responsibilities
* You will identify defects and provide feedback on asset performance and health through our asset management system.
* You will actively raise notifications and complete work orders to ensure timely maintenance.
* You will support the defect elimination process and contribute to work management analysis and asset tactics reviews to enhance overall asset performance.
Your responsibilities will also include ensuring that work management activities are executed in accordance with job instructions and undertaking post-maintenance equipment commissioning and clean-up.

About the Role
This role is based in our workshop in Tom Price, offering a lifestyle and roster to suit you. The roles are FIFO (Fly In Fly Out) with a family-friendly 8 days on and 6 days off all day shift roster.

What You'll Bring
* Heavy Duty Diesel Trade certificate – Mechanical or Fitting
* Strong background in Heavy Mobile Equipment
* Background in Rail Track Maintenance Machine repairs and maintenance advantageous
* Sound understanding of hydraulic principles
* Current manual 'C' Class Driver's License
* Excellent communication skills, and proven ability to interact with all levels of personnel
Highly Desirable Skills and Qualifications
* HR Drivers License
* RTIO inductions
* Previous rail experience on Plasser - Tampers Regulators, Vaia Car - Welders
* Knowledge of computer programs including SAP
