Richard Field Constructions (Field Construct) is a team centric commercial building contractor that seeks to employ a Project Manager in our Cairns Far North Queensland office.
The Position
* Manage Head & Sub Contracts
* Trade procurement
* Variation and payment management
* Budget & forecast management, monthly financial reviews
* Scheduling to guide the project to completion.
* Co-ordination with designers, subcontractors and suppliers
* Risk management to identify problems and strategies to mitigate them.
* Overseeing quality of work and ensuring it meets the required standards.
* Assist with tendering and winning work
* Assist with team mentoring and upskilling
* Compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
* Work integrally to lead and motivate the team.

* You will work with an experienced established construction team: Director, Construction Manager, Estimating Manager, Estimators, Project Managers, Contracts Administrator, Site Managers, Foreman, Leading Hands, Carpenter Builders, Apprentice Carpenters and Laborers.

The Person
* A qualification in a relevant building discipline / trade
* Paid to reflect experience
* Demonstrated experience in medium commercial construction projects
* Outstanding leadership, organization, planning & communication skills to keep stake holders up to date on progress and all issues.
* You will desire to advance your career by working with the best people of industry
* Skilled in use of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word and Excel
* Be familiar with or adaptable to learn CSSP budget software
* Intimate knowledge of construction methodologies, materials and industry regulations.
