About The Role
The Coordinator Business Systems will take responsibility for the delivery of both project and business as usual activities and provide effective advice and team leadership, including managing priorities, expectations and information flow to and from a diverse range of customer groups/stakeholders at all levels and across the organisation.
Drawing on exceptional project management skills, the Coordinator Business Systems will ensure that all resources are deployed to maximum effect, and that accurate/timely progress reports are provided on initiatives, projects and business as usual activities through to the Team Manager IT Service Operations. This positions ability to develop the team's project management acumen, partnering and service skills, and skills retention and diversification is critical.
About You
You will bring over ten years of relevant industry experience, including at least five years in a similar role, you demonstrate strong managerial capability across human resources, information and knowledge management, service quality, service levels, and financial management.
You are a subject matter expert in both project management and business systems management within a business or local government context, with proven expertise in system design, configuration, administration, integration, support, and development. Your experience includes identifying and leading end‑to‑end system and process improvements that mature organisational capability. You excel at acting as a technical and strategic conduit between business areas, IT strategy, and IT operations—providing specialist advice, anticipating future needs, and ensuring smooth transition and delivery of work.
You will bring strong knowledge of software development methodologies and change management principles, along with advanced conceptual, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities. Your interpersonal, consultation, negotiation, and stakeholder relationship skills are exceptional, supported by strong communication skills that enable you to effectively engage and educate diverse audiences. With a demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems in highly complex environments using leading-edge technologies and integrated systems.
