About The Role:
As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a crucial role in their fast-paced environment.
Your roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Proactively identify and coordinate preventative maintenance across the site.
- Prioritise breakdowns on site while adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Execute planned maintenance tasks.
- Document detailed accounts of all work performed on the system.
- Investigate and fault-find plant or equipment issues.
About you:
To be successful in this position, you must possess:
- A Mechanical Fitter Trade qualification or equivalent.
- Solid knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Experience in repairing, modifying, and enhancing machinery.
- Strong fault-finding and RCA skills.
- Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams and machinery manuals.
- Qualification and skills in welding, turning and sheet metal fabrication
- Flexibility to work a twelve-hour shift schedule: Wednesday to Saturday, 8 pm - 6 am, and Thursday to Saturday, 6 pm - 6 am.
- Knowledge of basic electrical systems and components is advantageous.
