Job Overview
The Senior Applications Support Specialist will play a key role in developing and supporting business applications, tools, and information systems.
* Key Responsibilities:
1. Install, configure, support, and maintain corporate and enterprise-wide tool and business application systems;
2. Work with stakeholders and vendors in tailoring commercial software products to meet specific business requirements;
3. Troubleshoot and resolve complex assigned/escalated incidents and/or service requests while ensuring prompt professional service;
4. Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to other members within the team and actively work, communicate, and cross-skill with other members of the IT team;
5. Assume leadership responsibilities when the manager is away or on leave.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Broad knowledge of business tools, applications, and technologies that support business functions including areas of Finance, HR, IT, Engineering, etc.
* Advanced problem-solving skills with an analytical mind being able to interpret information and make specific recommendations;
* Demonstrates initiative, discretion, and sound judgment in carrying out responsibilities while upholding confidentiality;
* Working knowledge of technologies such as M365/Azure Platforms, Sharepoint, Database technologies, ITSM systems and tools, Atlassian Confluence & Jira, Data and Analysis toolsets, and Proficient in the use Microsoft Office;
* Experience in the development and/or implementation of automation solutions using scripting/programming languages.
