Project Manager and Program Manager Role
The Australian Signals Directorate is seeking experienced project managers to lead or support integrated teams in managing planning, governance, risk, and reporting aspects of the Capability Life Cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implementing Project Management Practices: Support iterative/agile working and maintain knowledge of ICT project management tools, including risk management, quality assurance, finance, cost modeling, procurement, acquisition strategy, test and evaluation, resourcing, project briefs, project management plans, and post-implementation reviews.
* Project Delivery and Governance: Conceive, maintain, and communicate a vision of the project's outcomes and associated benefits, agreeing business requirements, and translating them into project plans.
* Monitoring and Reviewing Project Scope: Schedule project resources, inter-dependencies, and project risk, monitoring and reviewing project scope, costs, schedule, and expected benefits.
* Interdependencies and Business Strategies: Manage interdependencies in support of specific business strategies and objectives, supporting a framework for implementing business initiatives or change.
* Cost Modeling and Risk Planning: Support and/or undertake cost modeling, analysis, risk planning, test and evaluation activities to ensure projects meet required standards and integrity, providing visibility, escalated action, and reporting on these activities.
Program Management Responsibilities:
* Coordinating Activities: Coordinate the activities of multiple project managers, ensuring seamless integration and communication across the program.
* Planning and Financial Management: Contribute to planning, financial, procurement, contractual, and operational requirements of projects.
* Risk Management and Stakeholder Liaison: Undertake risk management, identifying risk across all existing and potential projects, liaising with stakeholders on a regular basis to ensure overall program direction adheres to the intended aim and scope.
* Strategic Advice and Resource Management: Provide strategic advice to senior leadership and stakeholders, prioritizing and managing program resources and workflows.

* Agile Project Management Experience: Demonstrate experience in project management and an understanding of agile project management processes and methodologies.
