The opportunity Delaware North Australia is hiring a casual Kitchen Steward to join our culinary team working across our Melbourne venues including the MCG, Marvel Stadium and Victoria Racing Club. As a Kitchen Steward, you will play a crucial role in ensuring cleanliness, order, and efficiency in the kitchen; contributing to the smooth functioning of the kitchen operations. You will excel as a Kitchen Steward if you have fundamental cleaning skills and a comprehensive understanding of kitchen safety.

What will you do?
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
* Ensure WHS compliance by conducting temperature and quality checks and managing cross-contamination
* Support kitchen staff in maintaining an organised and efficient workspace
* Perform hands-on cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, and waste management
* Show flexibility in working various shifts over a 7-day roster
More About You
* Previous experience as a kitchen hand is preferred
* Food Safety Certificate or willing to obtain one
