QCCS is looking for a powerhouse Site Supervisor to lead civil and concrete projects across our major mine site contracts in the Bowen Basin. This isn't a \"clipboard only\" role—we need a hands-on leader who knows how to drive a schedule, manage a crew, and maintain the high safety standards QCCS is known for.
Roster & Lifestyle (DIDO)
This is a Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) position from the Mackay/Whitsunday region.
* Current Roster: 5 days on, 2 days off.
* Future Scope: Potential for 7/7 and 8/6 rosters on upcoming projects.
* Travel: Fully maintained company vehicle provided for travel to and from site.
* Accommodation: All camp accommodation and meals provided while on roster.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be the primary point of contact on-site, responsible for:
* Supervising civil earthworks, drainage, and specialized concrete remediation/repair works.
* Leading QCCS crews and subcontractors to hit daily production and quality targets.
* Project Oversight: Managing works from initial mobilisation through to final handover.
* Compliance: Ensuring 100% adherence to WHS, Quality Assurance (QA), and site-specific standards.
* Coordination: Managing plant, materials, and daily site logistics.
* Communication: Liaising with project engineers and client representatives.
What You'll Bring
* 5+ years' experience in a Site Supervisor or Leading Hand role within the mining or civil sectors.
* Technical Expertise: Strong background in civil earthworks and concrete.
* Leadership: The ability to manage a team and make high-pressure calls on the ground.
* Compliance Savvy: Solid understanding of site-specific safety and QA requirements.
* Mandatory: White Card & current Manual Driver's Licence.
* Required Qualifications: S1, S2, S3 (Supervisor) & G2 (Risk Management).
* Highly Regarded: Relevant Trade Qualification.
