This is a full‐time permanent role in Shepparton (VIC) for a well‐established locally owned automotive dealership specializing in car sales, repairs, breakdowns, and vehicle servicing.
We are looking for an experienced Pre‐Delivery Accessory Fitter, Automotive Mechanic or Vehicle Service Person to work autonomously for our valued clientele.
Salary: AU$60,000 – 70,000 per annum.
Location: Shepparton, VIC.
Responsibilities
* Review work orders and assess accessories for installation.
* Prepare tools, materials, and vehicles for fitting.
* Install and wire accessories, ensuring functionality.
* Test and troubleshoot installed accessories.
* Maintain records, update inventory, and communicate with customers.
* Follow safety protocols and stay updated on industry trends.
* Maintain accurate documentation of repairs.
* Stay updated with industry standards.
* Communicate progress to the sales team.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Adapt to changing workload.
* Improve mechanical skills and knowledge.
* Provide input for process improvement.
* Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
Qualifications
* Qualified automotive technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
* Experience fitting accessories onto high‐end expensive vehicles.
* Meticulous and precise workmanship.
* Preferably customer service and/or administrative experience.
* Solid computer literacy.
* Possession of a current, unrestricted manual driver's licence.
* Ability to work autonomously.
