Senior .Net (Azure) Engineer

What you'll do on a daily basis:
· Design and develop cloud-native applications in C# hosted on Microsoft Azure, focusing on scalability, security, and performance.
· Architect and implement serverless solutions using services such as Azure Functions, Front Door and Event Grid.
· Design solutions using appropriate architectural patterns, including synchronous APIs, asynchronous messaging, and event streaming.
· Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing, deployment, and release management.
· Apply DevOps practices to streamline development workflows and improve operational efficiency.
· Ensure applications are testable, secure, and maintainable through robust engineering practices and code quality standards.
· Integrate security best practices across the software development lifecycle, including identity management and data
protection.

Experience required:
* Extensive experience designing and developing cloud-native applications using C# and Microsoft Azure.
* Equivalent experience in AWS will be considered where applicable.
* Proven track record implementing serverless architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices in production environments.
* Strong background in software engineering principles, including testability, security, and maintainability.
* Familiarity with a range of data technologies, including relational and non-relational databases
Skills & Expertise ·
* 8years+ in C# and the .NET ecosystem, with experience building scalable and maintainable applications.
* Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure, including serverless services (e.g. Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Front Door), App Services, and cloud-native design patterns.
* Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar.
* Solid grasp of DevOps practices, including infrastructure automation, configuration management, and deployment strategies.
* Strong knowledge of application security, including identity management, authentication/authorization, and secure coding practices.
* Familiarity with architectural patterns such as synchronous APIs, asynchronous messaging, and event-driven systems.
* Skilled in test-driven development, unit testing, integration testing, and automated quality assurance.
