Responsibilities
* Lead and provide strategic leadership across one of Transport for NSW's key traffic infrastructure asset portfolios.
* Oversee maintenance and capital works delivery for traffic infrastructure assets in accordance with Asset Management Plans, embedding assurance frameworks and driving a forward‐looking, performance‐driven approach.
* Cultivate a proactive, systems‐focused culture that anticipates risk, optimises performance and strengthens reliability and safety of the state's road network.
* Work with a portfolio that includes traffic signals, controllers, roadside structures, safety devices and corridor‐wide traffic systems, applying portfolio‐wide insight to guide decisions that optimise lifecycle outcomes.
Qualifications
* Significant experience managing complex traffic infrastructure portfolios in transport or large‐scale operational environments.
* Strong knowledge of engineering standards, regulatory frameworks and asset management systems, including Australian Standards, road safety and compliance requirements, and ISO 55000 aligned practices.
* Proven ability to lead at a system level, integrating people, data, risk insights and operational realities to lift long‐term network performance.
