Job Summary
Assist both external and internal customers with all Individual Health related queries and changes and to provide support to the Supervisor when receiving customer queries as well as to provide support to the pensions.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
* To receive all documents relating to Individual Health.
* To process individual applications by keying them into the system.
* To process changes to the Individual health policies as required.
* Processes New Business Application payments
* Provides timely and accurate information to incoming queries from policyholders, advisors, beneficiaries, or other persons.
* Prepares Payment History reports and Account Reconciliation.
* Acts as relief to the group Admin CSR.
* To print and disseminate billing statements relating to Individual Health portfolio.
* To assist in the receiving and processing of pension documents.
* Complete request for Change of Advisors
* Assist with the maintenance of filing cabinets (removing inactive policies and ensuring files are properly managed)
* Escalate issues raised by customers which are beyond his/her scope to Supervisor.
* To perform any other duties assigned.
COMPENSABLE FACTORS
Education/Experience
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
* An associate degree in Business Studies or a related discipline.
* At least (1) years' experience in a customer service environment is essential.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with computer literacy are necessary.
* A high proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software.
* Good organizational skills.
* Knowledge of insurance and investment services fundamentals.
* Ability to remain focused on customer queries for multiple consecutive hours with minimal walking around.
* Requires the ability to organise and manage multiple priorities.
* Previous experience within a financial services environment would be an asset.
