Kalamunda Christian School (KCS), nestled in the beautifulsuburb of Walliston, has been shaping young lives for over 40years. We are seeking a professional and dedicated OfficeAdministrator and Personal Assistant to the Principal tojoin our team in an ongoing position,commencing as soon as possible. This role will be44 weeks per year of 37.5 hours per week, equivalent to0.9234 FTE.
The successful candidate will support the effective functioningand leadership of the School by providing high-level organisation,administration, and coordination to the Principal, while ensuringthe smooth day-to-day operation of the school office. You willdemonstrate professionalism, discretion, and initiative in yourwork, helping to maintain clear communication, efficient systems,and strong overall support for the daily life of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-level personal assistance to the Principal,including diary management, communication, correspondence, andconfidential administrative support.
* Oversee daily school office operations, ensuring effectivesystems, accurate records, and strong coordination withleadership on procedures and priorities.
* Support clear, professional communication across the schoolby acting as a key contact, managing messages, and coordinatinginformation flow between leadership, staff, families, andstakeholders.
* Work collaboratively with leadership and staff, followingdirection while exercising initiative, supporting clearprocesses and communication, and appropriately escalating keymatters.
* Support enrolments by assisting families, coordinatingstudent timetables in TASS, and contributing to open days,orientation, and marketing activities.
* Engage warmly and professionally with families, supportingenquiries, school events, and community activities.
* Support school operations through event planning, meetingadministration, resource bookings, relief coordination, frontdesk and first aid duties, uniform coordination, and adherenceto policies and procedures.
* Demonstrates a personal commitment to Jesus Christ, regularchurch attendance, and alignment with SCEA's Statement of Faithand Christian lifestyle values.
* Demonstrated experience as a Personal Assistant with strongorganisational, administrative, and problem-solving skills, andthe ability to stay calm under pressure.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with theability to engage and inspire students, staff, andparents.
* Sound understanding of relevant laws, procedures, andpolicies, combined with initiative, drive, and professionaldiscretion.
* High level computing skills including Word, PowerPoint andExcel with strong database proficiency.
* Current Working with Children Check and Department ofEducation Criminal History Clearance (or willingness toobtain).
Desirable Selection Criteria:
