About this Opportunity:
* You will lead Enterprise Integrated Planning and build integrated plans that meet business, technical and customer needs.
* You will drive program management performance and execution through clear, timely communication.
* You will support the Program Manager in customer engagement so stakeholders are always informed of program status and performance.
* You will coordinate priority issues and ensure delivery against program commitments.
* You will provide support for governance, workforce planning, risk and stakeholder management.
* You will coach program staff in Boeing's PMBP and practical project management disciplines.
* You will ensure leadership and the customer receive timely technical and business reporting.
* You will connect the program to internal support functions (HR, Quality, EHS, Finance, Contracts, Security, Facilities, Trade Controls, Data, Training).
* You will lead by example on safety, equity, diversity and environmental management.
* You will monitor performance and availability metrics to keep the P8 fleet operational.
* You will be the go-to SME for program/project management across the P8 sustainment effort.
Your Skills and Experience:
* Strong leadership, prioritisation and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Deep experience in project/program management delivering complex defence or aviation programs.
* At least 10 years' relevant experience in project management, engineering or aircraft technical environments.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
* A good understanding of airworthiness and ADF Defence Aviation Safety Regulations.
* You will be a team player with a practical, solutions-focused attitude – you’ll work at the right level without getting bogged in detail.
* You will have demonstrated experience and ability to influence across Commonwealth and industry.
* You must be an Australian citizen and able to obtain and maintain, an Australian Defence security clearance to Negative Vetting 1 (NV1).
