Geriatric Medicine Registrar Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Geriatric Medicine Registrar to join our medical team at the Royal Hobart Hospital in Tasmania. This is an exciting opportunity for Basic Physician trainees, GP Registrars, and Advanced Trainees in Rehabilitation or Emergency Medicine to develop their skills in geriatric medicine.

This position involves managing inpatients and outpatients with complex medical conditions, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care, and contributing to research and quality improvement initiatives in geriatric medicine.


Key Responsibilities:

* Manage inpatient and outpatient cases with complex medical needs
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care
* Participate in research and quality improvement projects related to geriatric medicine


Requirements:

* Basic Physician training or equivalent experience
* GP registration or eligibility for registration
* Advanced training in Rehabilitation or Emergency Medicine advantageous
