About the Role
Data Engineering Lead
We are hiring a Data Engineering Lead with hands-on expertise in designing and delivering world-class, end-to-end data engineering solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data architecture, ETL processes, big data technologies, and cloud-based solutions.
You will work closely with stakeholders to design, build, and manage scalable data platforms supporting business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning applications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable data pipelines on Azure Cloud.
* Architect and implement data solutions using Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL.
* Optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
* Develop and maintain data models to support business reporting and analytics needs.
* Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to enable data-driven decision-making.
* Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices in line with industry standards.
* Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, ensuring high availability and performance.
* Lead a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and support.
* Stay updated with the latest Azure data technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
Requirements:
* 8+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, and cloud solutions.
* Expertise in Azure Data Platform (Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, Azure SQL, etc.).
* Strong SQL, Python, and Spark programming skills.
* Experience with Big Data processing frameworks and streaming technologies (Kafka, Event Hub, etc.).
* Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, and performance tuning.
* Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
