You will provide Health, Safety and Security support and advice to business leaders and support the ongoing delivery of national health and safety. This role will also see you embedding national Health, Safety and Security practices aligned to our safety mission and overall strategy - keeping people safe, promoting health and wellbeing and adding value.
This position is based at our Sydney Print Centre in Chullora and your time will be split between our Holt Street corporate site in Surry Hills and the Print Centre.
**Role Responsibilities**
- Provide quality, trusted and consistent Health, Safety and Security advice to all Leaders.
- Advise and support the ongoing delivery of national Health, Safety and Security reporting plans and analyse performance data to identify trends.
- Undertake WHS risk management activities including providing advice and coaching, hazard identification, risk assessments, elimination or control strategies and their review.
- Deliver quality, efficient and effective injury and well-being services within a dedicated business area.
- Actively manage and review claim status and estimates with insurers.
- Coach, support and assess business leaders in completing hazard inspection processes, incident reporting, managing workers compensation and return to work programs
- Lead local site security contractor management, including supporting cyclical SLA performance reviews against a national performance framework.
**Skills and Experience**
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.
- Demonstrated experience in safety risk management in a production, operations or manufacturing environment.
- You are able to work as part of a team and to make a difference.
- Outstanding listening skills, patience and ability to influence whilst remaining empathetic.
- You will have demonstrated health and safety experience in a similar role.
- A natural collaborator and a true WHS business partner.
- Ability to work from multiple locations and the flexibility to travel interstate when required.
