Kyabram District Health Service (KDHS) is a medium-sized rural health service offering programs including acute, subacute, residential aged care, and allied and primary health care services. KDHS operates across three campuses in Kyabram, Stanhope, and Tongala.

About the Role
The Communications Officer plays a key role in planning and executing marketing strategies, managing content, media partnerships, public relations, and campaigns. Responsibilities include coordinating events, managing communications, working with external agencies, and creating marketing materials. The role involves overseeing KDHS's social media and online presence, producing various content, and supporting community engagement and media relations. Additionally, the officer contributes to fundraising efforts by promoting campaigns and donor engagement.
Successful candidates will demonstrate initiative, planning and organizational skills, independence, and proficiency with digital tools and platforms.
About You
* Proven experience with MS Office, social media, digital, and print media content creation
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Strong organizational and planning abilities with attention to detail
* Ability to manage priorities and sensitive information
* Capacity to work independently and lead stakeholders
* Commitment to excellent customer service
* Degree in Communication, Marketing, or related field
* Familiarity with content management systems, publishing, and design software
* Experience in event coordination and fundraising
