Heavy Vehicle Technician Opportunity
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our team, based in Carrara. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing and maintenance on trucks and buses, in line with Volvo Group's standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Steering and suspension repairs
* Electrical faults diagnosis and repairs
* Braking systems diagnosis and repairs
* Component overhauls
* Driveline repairs
* Preventative maintenance services and repairs
The role involves working directly with the manufacturer, providing an opportunity to work on a range of heavy vehicles.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of heavy vehicle technology and a proven ability to diagnose and repair complex problems.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Technical skills in steering and suspension, electrical systems, braking systems and drivelines
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* High level of mechanical aptitude
* Compliance with all relevant workplace health and safety regulations
