**The Chance**
This role will be critical in supporting the design and delivery of transformational improvements to our intercompany processes including the development of an intercompany framework, including elimination and reconciliation processes and dimensions needed in the consolidation tool and achieving reporting outcomes in line with that framework. This is a critical project role leading the consolidations stream of the finance systems transformation program. Initially this role is expected to have a life of approximately 2 years so this role will support the end to end process, and will take over the work of the incumbent in finalising a decision on what tool Woolworths will select and will subsequently be the finance lead ensuring the design and build meets the requirements set out by the squad.
**What you'll do
- You'll partner with the Group Financial Controller and the broader finance and Technology communities as well other key financial stakeholders
- Be responsible for the end-to-end ownership of the replacement tool in line with key business objectives by consolidation of actuals and planning data, budget and forecast and to meet both external and internal reporting requirements
- Oversee the finance leadership over all aspects of design and development and to assist the Project Manager with cost management
- Provide transparency and visualisation of the design intercompany processes to enable reconciliation and elimination within the consolidations tool and ensure these compliment upstream accounting and process changes in the accounting teams to drive insight-led decisions You're a key leader on this program, so you will be required to promote the program in the face of challenges you may face**What you'll bring
- Experience in consolidations and/or controllership/FP&A; experience
- Degree and/or a Bachelors ideal (Change, Project Management, Comms, MBA, Org Dev and/or equivalent) or extensive experience
- Advanced experience in managing a large and complex finance systems and process implementation program
- Ability to communicate in facilitating a variety of people; experience in storytelling and presenting to senior business stakeholders
- Self-starter and you do not need a lot of direction so you must be able to establish a path forward and present this to senior stakeholders for guidance and correction despite there being a blank canvas Great passion and energy from complex problem solving!
