**Position Overview**:
As a Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes, machinery maintenance, and contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of the production line.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Performing scheduled inspections to identify potential faults or malfunctions.
- Collaborating with the engineering and production teams to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
**Essential Requirements**:
- Relevant trade qualifications as a Fitter.
- Valid NSW Fitter tickets and licences.
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Physically fit and capable of completing tasks that may require heavy lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
**Desirable Skills**:
- Experience with CNC machinery.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
- Welding and fabrication skills.
